Addicting Treats

January 17, 2010

I love to make treats, but I don’t usually go overboard eating them. A few bites and I’m done. Maybe I’m partially French. Enter the pretzel things. That’s what we called them. My sister’s friend always joins us for Christmas, and this was her contribution to the Christmas Eve festivities. I’ll be honest, when she said they were addicting I was skeptical. Until I ate one. Which turned into five. Which turned into twenty. I ate the whole plate. By myself. And then I made more for a New Year’s Eve party. They are addicting. Period.

Pretzels
Rolos
Walnuts
Line a cookie sheet with foil. Place pretzels on foil and top each one with a Rolo. Put in a 350 oven for 2-5 minutes. When Rolos are soft, remove from oven and press a walnut onto the chocolate. Let cool. Try not to eat too many.
