Yummy Tuna

June 7, 2008

Hubby loves tuna, but hates mustard and pickles, so I eat the whole thing by myself when I make this for lunch. You can use it as sandwich filling too, but I like it on crackers. I used to make this with TJ back in high school, we ate a lot of this tuna while watching the 4 hour version of Jane Eyre.

1 can tuna, packed in water
1 T mayo
1-2 tsp mustard
1 pickle, cut in half and then sliced
crackers or bread
Combine first three ingredients, mix well. Stir in pickles. Top crackers or bread. I absolutely love this stuff.

*This is also good with cheese slices.

*I love the chunk white albacore tuna, but I usually make this with cheap tuna. Either way, it’s fantastic.

*Who ever thought of packing tuna in oil? Gross. I’ve never actually seen anyone use it before. Hubby said he saw a lot of people in the South eat it. Cultural thing?
