These were really good. I decided to make them big because it’s less work, so I divided my dough into fourths. Sixths probably would have been ideal.

1 recipe pizza dough
shredded cheese
green bell pepper
pizza sauce
Roll out each piece of dough into a circle. Add desired toppings to half of the circle (within 1/2 inch of the edge). Fold over and seal edges with a fork. Using a fork, poke a few holes in the top. Bake 10-15 minutes in a 500 degree oven. Serve with heated pizza sauce.
*Hubby likes some sauce inside the calzone too.
*I microwave my pepperoni for 30 seconds on a paper towel. It gets tons of grease out, and crisps them up a bit.
