I made this using fresh cherry tomatoes and basil from our garden. One of the things I dislike most about winter is having to buy tomatoes from the store. It’s rare to get one that tastes even half-way decent. There’s just nothing like a garden-fresh tomato. 1 chicken breast, cooked & diced
1 jar alfredo sauce
whole wheat pasta spirals
a bunch of cherry tomatoes
fresh basil, cut into ribbons
Cook pasta according to package directions. Combine chicken and sauce, pour over pasta. Slice tomatoes in half, place on top of chicken and sauce. Top with basil ribbons. Enjoy eating something you grew.
