This is Debbie’s shredded pork, but I don’t know who Debbie is. I got this from my mother-in-law, and it’s always better when she makes it. I know she buys a better cut of meat than I do, so that probably has something to do with it. I always buy whatever is the cheapest. I don’t know the amount of meat because the recipe calls for one roast from the Costco 3 pack. Costco (last I checked) had discontinued that particular package of pork. 3 lbs is my best guess.
3 lbs pork roast
1 c brown sugar
1 stick butter
2 T ketchup
2 T worcestershire sauce
2 T mustard
Place meat in a crockpot on low for about 4 hours. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan, heat until butter is melted. Pour onto the pork and continue cooking for 3-4 more hours. Shred the pork and mix the sauce in with it. Serve in a salad, tortilla, or bun.
