Sweet baby #3 turned 1 year old! I went with a yellow pound cake and used some of the batter to maker her her own little cupcake. She was a little unsure at first, but I think she liked it! Hubby’s birthday was the day before #3’s, so this was for both of them. He really liked the cake too, which says something coming from a guy who would rather have birthday cookies (which I also made him).
1 pkg yellow cake mix1 pkg (4-serving size) vanilla instant pudding
4 large eggs
1 c water
1/3 c vegetable oil
1/2 creamy frosting, favorite flavor
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water and oil in large bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 25 minutes, then invert onto serving platter. Cool completely.
Microwave frosting for 10-15 seconds (do not overheat). Drizzle over cake.
*The cooking spray with flour in it is one of my favorite things.
