PB&J to go!

June 9, 2010

Do you love a good peanut butter sandwich, but by the time you make it in the morning, pack it up, do your thing, and then settle in for lunch, the jam/jelly/honey has absorbed into the bread, making for a dry meal?  (Hubby actually likes to that with pb & honey sandwiches, he likes the texture of the bread after it absorbs the honey).  Or if you put a lot on, maybe it makes your bread soggy.  If you’re not a fan, here’s the solution!  Put a layer of peanut butter (as thick as you want) on each slice of bread, top with your jam, jelly, or honey, stick your sandwich together, and off you go!
