Welcome, thanks for stopping for by!
Do you love a good homemade popsicle? But have you been on the hunt for one that’s NOT loaded with tons of sugar? Then look no further! I have the perfect popsicle for you!
These raspberry lemonade frozen yogurt pops are delicious, wholesome, and simple to make. Not to mention, ALL of my kids LOVED these (which is actually a really big deal since, in a cruel twist of fate, they don’t enjoy eating).
Oftentimes when I make treats like this, we’ll all have one and say, “Yum, those were really good!” and then forget about the rest sitting in the freezer. Not with these! I made two batches (which was about 2 dozen pops) and we devoured them in a week or so.
Raspberries have a LOT of seeds, so I strain mine before they go in to the yogurt. You don’t have to do this, but I highly recommend it for a better, smoother texture.
If you’ve ever had local produce, meat or honey, you’ll probably agree that you can taste the difference. In the last couple of years, we’ve been buying local honey exclusively, and we love it! I’ve incorporated it into this recipe instead of sugar, and we’re all pretty excited about the results. Raw honey has a lot of benefits that pasteurized honey doesn’t have. It’s a good source of:
- antioxidants
- enzymes
- phytonutrients
- minerals(including iron, zinc, potassium, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium & selenium)
- it’s even antibacterial and antifungal!
So even though this is a treat, I feel good about giving them to my kids because they’re made with wholesome, nutritious ingredients.
